• Layout, setup and pre-flight client approved artwork to Caldera RIP Software. Including graphic bleed setup of wall murals on Dreamscape wall material,        prepping graphics to be printed on textile fabric such as linen or soft 10oz matte vinyl.

• Printing graphics to specified fabric, vinyl and wall covering substrates on (x3) HP Latex 1500 large format printers using various print modes to achieve        optimized print quality.    

• Performing daily cleaning, preventative maintenance, replacement of ink bladders and printheads on all Latex printers.  

• Worked closely with owner to create custom graphics for recommended ecommerce platforms.

• Pack and ship assorted finished vinyl rolls and graphics to clients using the Fedex & UPS Shipping software.

September 2017-March 2020: Graphic Artist & Print Production Specialist, L&M Architectural Signs 

• Layout, setup and pre-flight client approved artwork (ADA code compliant Braille & Tactile, Etched and engraved signs, photopolymer signs, wall murals / distractions, 2nd Surface prints, Drill & Tap Pen Plots, Custom Made corporate name tags, etc.), for various roll fed printers (HP Latex 560 & 570 / Epson Photopolymer Filmmaker)/ flatbed printers (OCE 360 Arizona GT) along with waterjet and CNC router machinery. Preflight software mainly used for all printers: ONYX Thrive 12, OMAX Cad Editor and OCE software.

• Prepped and produced multiple 3M wallcovering / vinyl products, Avery & HP laminated contour cut graphics / wall murals using a correlation of the HP Latex 570 Printer with either the Summa 160D or 160T series plotters. Was also responsible for problem solving line up marks and bleeds by strategizing with inhouse installer to figure out efficient and accurate installation methods. Also, when necessary, ran the SEAL Laminator as well as graphic finishing, such as weeding, transfer taping, trimming and applying to substrates.

• Specifically operated the OCE Arizona 360 GT flatbed printer. This included printing on roll fed materials such as high-end glass approved vinyl that mainly had white ink-based graphics that were used as corporate window distractions. Also printed on various metals & brackets, custom front and back-painted acrylics, 3M vinyl that required white ink for double sided window graphics, painted wood and foam boards.  

• Helped create, modify & maintain an in-house production proof and retail shop drawing system that helped serve as a double check both for the client and for the shop fabricators.

January 2016-August 2016: Prepress Technician & Grand Format Print Operator, FLM Graphics 

• Ran and pre-flighted client approved artwork on various roll fed substrates using 3 Large HP Format Printers and a grand format HP Latex Printer. Preflight software used: Caldera Rip Software and EFI Fiery Client Software.

• Developed and prepped files for vehicle wraps, plexi glass displays, magnets, and custom die cut shapes for the ICUT Plotter and VUTEK GS Printer.

• Specifically operated the HP Latex Scitex 850 Grand Format Printer for printing on custom materials such as Mesh, Fabric Table Cloth, Double Sided 13-18 oz Banners.

• Create and Prep proofs for client or sales manager approval.

• Prepare and pack finished materials for shipping directly to client on site.
